We needed to move some furniture across town and also needed to declutter our home of some larger items. We called, they responded and our problems went away! Our recent experience with Alta Moving was fantastic. Their online quote system is thorough and easy to use. The quoted price was very reasonable compared to other moving companies. Their frog box rentals are super useful as well and came 5 days before the move so we had time to pack them all up. Ed, Cal and John was the team sent for our move and they were super friendly, professional and fast! We were moving out of a three story walk-up and they didn’t seem at all bothered by it. The move in portion was very fast too. Clearly a very experienced team. The final price was under the quoted maximum. We will definitely be recommending Alta Moving to friends, family and co-workers!

Exceptional service and professionalism. Edward and Wayne were efficient and friendly. They took care in moving all items and they took all the stress out of our move day. They were very clean and ensured nothing was damaged. I would absolutely recommend Alta Moving and won’t hesitate to use them again if needed in the future, and will ask for Wayne and Edward but I’m sure all the movers at Alta Moving have the same exceptional work ethic!! I was also impressed with the friendliness of the administration and how helpful they were. Overall a GREAT COMPANY!!!

First time hiring movers and could not have had a better experience. Kelvin and Alam were both personable and professional, they made sure any of our questions or concerns were answered. They took a great deal of effort and care with our furniture to insure everything made it to our new house without a scratch. We would definitely recommend Alta Moving to anyone making a move.

Alta movers were awesome! They worked very quickly. We needed to move my mother in laws stuff to two various locations to sell the items and her place. They cleared the house quickly, brought items to the dump and we’re careful with all items. They did everything we asked no questions asked 😀They did it in under 5 hours between the three locations. Would recommend them to anyone!

I hadn’t planned on using a moving company, because I figured my boyfriend and I would save money and do it ourselves. I am so beyond relieved and grateful I hired Alta. They definitely save us from hours of arguing and sore backs. Like who wants to spend their weekend moving heavy furniture? No one. I’ve never hired movers before, but I will never not hire them again. Wayne and Aaron (A-A-Ron as he nicknamed himself lol), were extremely efficient. They were careful with the walls and furniture and were much faster than I imagined anyone moving heavy objects. Between the dad jokes and the homemade cookies I was given, I enjoyed my time with them while overlooking the move. Even my 11 month old I was carrying was enthralled watching them work! I recommend them to EVERYONE who is looking to hire a moving team. It was worth every penny!

This is my second time using Alta moving and they are amazing. It’s a really nice combination of being reasonably priced and also being very efficient and professional. The team I had was awesome, it was Ethan and I’m so sorry but I forget the other man’s name. He was really passionate about making sure everything was moved and packed correctly and they both hustled hard into a 3 story walk up. Thank you!

I hired Alta Moving for my move from Edmonton to Calgary. I dealt with several employees of the company, and they were all a pleasure to deal with. I found the company very transparent to deal with an appreciated the flat rate truck rental and hourly rate of charge. The estimate provided was accurate, and the movers looked like they were working hard to keep everything on time and on track. John was the runner, and Jeremey was our driver. Both were excellent, and their experience and professionalism were very much appreciated. John specifically went above and beyond handling our items smoothly, and then even dealing with my fussy partner who wanted things off loaded into certain locations in our new home. What a gent! I would hire these guys again for sure!

From our initial discussion with Nahhid, to follow up with Brittany to the actual move with Edward, Calvin and John the move went extremely well. All our questions were answered in timely manner. Very professional, friendly service, no slip ups. Our new building Manager said these were the most organized movers he has seen. Highly recommend!

I was super impressed with these guys – what I thought would take 2.5 hours, 3 guys wrapped up in 48 minutes. And didn’t compromise service for efficiency. Not a single dent anywhere in the house. Mats rolled out so no shoes touched my floors or carpets. And very nice guys who I had some good conversation and jokes with. Definitely would recommend!

Moving is in the top 5 things I can’t stand. I thought hiring movers was going to be painful and expensive. Then Alta came along. Their rates (including the “mid month move” discount), the Frog Boxes, and their staff made this move so much easier. Other companies quoted us at least double what our move ended up costing. Jason dropped off the Frog Boxes and was so helpful working around the obstacles getting them into the place. Kelvin and Riley who did our move were absolute DREAMS. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and speed were such a great bonus to a stressful time. If I ever have to move again I will absolutely be using these movers.

Alta Moving was excellent, I had 4 employees packing and the same guys moving, They made it look so easy and quick I had a big house.
I would not hesitate to call Alta Moving again for any moving needs I may have in the future.

We just used Alta for our move and they were awesome!!. They showed up on time, they were very professional and the price was great. We did move all the little things that were not the best to move but everything they moved they did it without a scratch. Nothing was damaged. Very hard working company. I would highly recommend them for your next move.

Just had them unload my BSB to the new house. Called them yesterday, they came today (other companies were quoting TWO WEEKS or longer to schedule me), showed up exactly when they said they would, and the movers were quick, professional, courteous, and friendly. They even had running mats they laid through the house so my floors were protected. Definitely will use this company if I require a move in the future.

Alta’s service was outstanding. Scheduling my long distance move with Nahhid was easy and reassuring. I knew when to expect pickup and how to plan for the arrival on the other end.
Everyone was so helpful, considerate, and friendly throughout the process.

Absolutely amazing moving company! Everyone worked together to make sure my move was as seamless as possible. Nicole and Nour did what they could to work around my very difficult work schedule; they made sure I got the frogboxes delivered before my move. Kevin and John were an awesome duo as well. They were both communicative, worked quickly, and very friendly. I would definitely recommend them!

Very pleased with the service we got from our movers this past weekend. All were so friendly and great at their job. Our stuff was being placed into storage so they took extra care to ensure it was wrapped up so it will stay safe in the CCan we rented from them. Initially our truck was completely full and there were concerns one CCan wouldn’t be enough for us but they ensured they packed it up good enough and now we only have one monthly rental fee! Highly recommend this company for your moving needs!

Wayne and his team were very professional and organized. Everything was moved out very quick with no issues and they were communicative along the way. Nicole at the office was great to deal with as well. Definitely recommend.
